Role Summary
A senior-level Supply Chain Manager position responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations within an advanced manufacturing environment specializing in specialty materials. The role requires strategic leadership and operational excellence across international and domestic supply chain functions. The manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless flow of materials, optimize costs, and mitigate risks in a highly regulated setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with company growth and product development roadmaps.
- Own the complete supply chain lifecycle, including planning, sourcing, manufacturing support, logistics, and reverse logistics.
- Build supply resilience for critical raw materials through dual sourcing, safety stock, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Lead demand planning, master production scheduling (MPS), and material requirements planning (MRP) to meet forecasted demand and operational targets.
- Drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP/IBP) processes across multiple functions to synchronize supply and demand.
- Manage strategic sourcing, negotiating contracts, and maintaining supplier relationships for raw materials, components, and services.
- Ensure compliance with trade, export control, and industry standards such as ITAR/EAR, REACH, RoHS, and ISO 9001 / AS9100.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics activities, including customs, freight, warehousing, and freight cost optimization.
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to manage material specifications, quality issues, and supplier performance.
- Track, analyze, and report supply chain performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives and lean practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain functions, including planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Hands-on expertise with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, and proficiency in supply/demand planning tools.
- Demonstrated success in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools.
- Knowledge of trade compliance, import/export regulations, and logistics operations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage supply chain risks, especially with long-lead, sole-source, or regulated raw materials.
Publishing Pay Range: $115,000.00 – $155,000.00 annually
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
