Role Summary

***This position would require you to relocate to South Korea.***

This position involves providing geospatial support to a federal customer. The GeoBase Administrator will manage and optimize GIS solutions, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive geospatial data and applications to support missions. The role requires collaboration with government counterparts to develop, maintain, and enhance geospatial infrastructure and services.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Esri ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Server solutions within an enterprise environment.
  • Develop and maintain GIS data to support Air Force installation infrastructure.
  • Coordinate and execute GIS data development projects and web application deployment.
  • Gather user requirements and incorporate geospatial capabilities into existing and new business processes.
  • Provide formal and informal GIS training for end-users and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and configure GeoBase hardware and software, ensuring system accreditation and compliance.
  • Collaborate daily with government partners on project planning and execution.
  • Support integration of enterprise geospatial applications into operational workflows.
  • Document technical procedures, configurations, and project specifications clearly and effectively.
  • Participate in project review meetings, providing expert advice on geospatial solutions and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline.
  • Minimum of three years of experience administering Esri ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Server solutions.
  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Proven experience developing GIS data and integrating enterprise geospatial applications.
  • Familiarity with configuring web-mapping applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Experience gathering application requirements from geospatial data users.
  • Ability to provide technical training and support.
  • This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Publishing Pay Range: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 Annually
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site in South Korea.
