Role Summary

This position involves supporting a federal government customer as a GeoBase Administrator. The role requires maintaining and enhancing geospatial solutions to support missions, ensuring the integration and operation of GIS data and applications. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with government counterparts to develop, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise GIS environments, contributing to the overarching goal of establishing a unified geospatial information structure.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Esri ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Server solutions within an enterprise environment.
- Develop, update, and maintain GIS data to support Air Force infrastructure and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with government partners to plan and execute GIS projects, including data development and web application deployment.
- Coordinate and deliver GIS training sessions to end-users and technical staff.
- Maintain and ensure the security, accreditation, and functionality of GeoBase hardware and software.
- Gather application requirements from end-users and incorporate them into GIS solutions.
- Configure and support web-mapping applications utilizing JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for geospatial systems and applications.
- Document system configurations, processes, and technical procedures clearly and accurately.
- Support geospatial project planning, including data collection, integration, and quality control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience with Esri ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Server solutions.
- Current Security+ certification.
- Proven experience developing GIS data for enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with integrating geospatial applications into existing business processes.
- Experience administering and configuring web-mapping applications.
- Ability to gather and analyze user requirements for geospatial solutions.
- Demonstrated experience providing GIS training and technical support.
- This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required.
Publishing Pay Range: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 Annually
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site in Japan.
