Role Summary
The Business Systems Analyst II is a mid-level position responsible for supporting enterprise applications, analyzing system and business issues, and assisting with project execution. This role acts as a liaison between business users and IT teams, providing application support, documenting requirements, and participating in system configuration. The individual operates with moderate independence, escalating complex issues or questions to senior analysts or management as needed.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users, functional leads, and IT teams to gather and translate business needs into detailed requirements.
- Document current and future state business processes, identify gaps, and support the development of enhancement and test scenarios.
- Provide daily support for assigned enterprise applications, including incident resolution, problem analysis, and system administration.
- Communicate system status, scheduled maintenance, and other updates to relevant stakeholders, maintaining high customer service standards.
- Participate in project activities such as testing, data validation, user documentation, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Identify recurring system issues, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for support or usability improvements.
- Support enterprise application configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with Microsoft platforms and databases.
- Use SQL and reporting tools at a basic to intermediate level for data research, validation, and testing purposes.
- Support the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of enterprise systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Assist with system testing, incident tracking, and documentation during deployment and upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 3–5 years of experience in business systems support, business analysis, or related IT roles.
- Knowledge of database management, preferably Microsoft SQL.
- Familiarity with enterprise applications hosted on internal or enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and customer service skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across levels, functions, and locations.
- Availability for on-call support for system issues.
- Extensive experience supporting and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), particularly within manufacturing, supply chain, and warehouse operations.
- Practical understanding of manufacturing, inventory management, production planning, and warehouse management systems.
Publishing Pay Range: $70.00 – $80.00 hourly
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
