Role Summary

This position supports Low Code Application Platforms and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions within a complex enterprise environment, with a focus on governance, management, security, and lifecycle oversight. The role requires knowledge of enterprise SaaS frameworks and operational standards and contributes to the development and implementation of secure, cost-effective SaaS practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining and implementing the enterprise SaaS governance framework, including policies, standards, and lifecycle management processes.
  • Establish and maintain a centralized SaaS catalog, including application details, ownership, data classifications, and risk profiles.
  • Lead evaluation processes for new SaaS requests, coordinating security, compliance, legal, and operational reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal and external security teams to track cybersecurity requests and evaluate authorization-related documentation and artifacts.
  • Define and support role-based access control (RBAC), least-privilege principles, and user provisioning and deprovisioning processes.
  • Track system-level costs and monitor capacity, utilization, and user statistics.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining access control and audit processes.
  • Serve as a technical resource for managing, securing, and operationalizing SaaS solutions.
  • Provide guidance on application lifecycle management, including intake, approval, renewal, and retirement.
  • Collaborate with development, security, procurement, and platform teams to support established compliance and operational standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 6 to 9 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, CySA+, or CCNA Security, as applicable to the position.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT-related roles, including at least 1 year of experience working with Jira.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust determination.
  • Experience with SaaS governance within federal government or other complex enterprise environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software delivery pipelines, shared data systems, or related technology environments is preferred.

Pay Range: USD $94,000.00 – USD $120,000.00 annually
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
