Role Summary
This role involves managing the day-to-day operations and tactical execution of multiple large-scale infrastructure projects within highly regulated environments. The focus is on physical infrastructure deployments such as network refreshes, server and router installations, low-voltage cabling, and site readiness activities. The position requires coordinating diverse workstreams and ensuring project completion within scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining adherence to safety and security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and manage comprehensive Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) with clear dependencies and critical paths for multiple project streams.
  • Oversee onsite and field-based project activities, including vendor management, resource allocation, and scheduling to ensure safe and compliant operations.
  • Coordinate and lead field teams, vendors, and subcontractors, addressing logistical, material, and site access challenges.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and constraints, providing regular reports and recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Build and foster trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, especially within highly regulated or sensitive environments.
  • Manage project financials, including profitability, revenue, margins, and resource utilization, ensuring projects deliver within budgets.
  • Implement quality assurance and engagement review processes consistent with organizational standards to guarantee deliverable quality.
  • Proactively identify potential project risks, conduct impact assessments, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure all deliverables meet organization and client standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, focusing on infrastructure deployments and complex delivery environments.
  • Proven experience managing external customer projects, particularly within professional or managed services environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership supporting global financial services clients, including deployments in regulated environments.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure domains such as networking, server/hardware installation, low-voltage wiring, virtualization, and cloud solutions.
  • Strong ability to coordinate field teams, vendors, and schedules while managing real-world site constraints.
  • Relevant education, training, certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
  • PMP and/or CAPM certification preferred.
  • Solid understanding of project financials, risk management, and stakeholder influence.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.

Publishing Pay Range: $60.00 – $70.00 hourly


This is a fully remote role and can be performed from any approved location within the United States.
