Role Summary

This position involves leading process improvement initiatives that integrate Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing functions to enhance product lifecycle management and operational efficiency. The role requires evaluating current workflows, establishing standardized controls, and ensuring alignment across multiple departments to improve traceability, accountability, and overall productivity. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement efforts within a dynamic manufacturing and product development environment.

Responsibilities

  • Improve revision control and document management processes within Microsoft Dynamics AX.
  • Develop and implement standardized item setup and control procedures to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Establish and maintain supplier review processes and uphold supplier quality standards.
  • Lead enhancements to Engineering Change Order (ECO) and Technical Approval Process (TAP) workflows.
  • Create processes within AX to purchase, track, manage, and control prototype parts throughout development and validation stages.
  • Enhance integration between engineering design activities and manufacturing systems for seamless product transition from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Services, and Operations teams to implement best practices that improve efficiency, quality, and traceability.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholder engagement across global locations to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  • Lead process improvement projects and facilitate change management initiatives across the organization.
  • Drive operational excellence in new product introduction, engineering change processes, and product development workflows.

Qualifications

  • Relevant education, training, certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven success in driving process improvement initiatives within manufacturing, engineering, or product development settings.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, change management, and product lifecycle processes.
  • Background in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent).
  • Project or Program Management experience.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate activities and influence stakeholders across multiple functions and global locations.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid environment, with time split between the office and remote work.

Publishing Pay Range: $30.00 – $35.00 hourly
