Role Summary

Responsibilities
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with hardware engineers and equipment designers for software development projects.
- Analyze user needs and system capabilities to resolve program and system issues, including input, output, and data acquisition concerns.
- Develop, modify, and document software systems, including operating systems, compilers, assemblers, and utility programs.
- Ensure software meets quality standards and performs within project constraints by analyzing feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate software system installations and monitor equipment functioning to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Design and develop database descriptions, modify existing databases, and manage database systems.
- Work within project teams to define scope, capabilities, and limitations for database and software development.
- Review user requirements to estimate project timelines and costs accurately.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform system changes, and provide technical solutions independently.
- Maintain effective communication across teams, including participants in systems analysis, engineering, and programming.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or relevant field.
- Relevant education, training, certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in software development and systems analysis.
- Proficiency in software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, functional specifications, testing, and delivery.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and system modification skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and development tools such as SQL and VisualBasic.

Publishing Pay Range: $53.00- $57.00 Hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
