Role Summary

This position oversees daily data center operations with a focus on high-density computing and liquid-cooled infrastructure. The role leads on-site technical teams, coordinates cross-functional activities, and supports the reliability, safety, and operational readiness of critical infrastructure within a fast-paced data center environment.

Responsibilities

  • Promote adherence to established safety procedures and operational standards when working around electrical, mechanical, and liquid-cooled infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, change-control procedures, SOPs/MOPs, and operational reporting.
  • Manage technician priorities, work assignments, ticket queues, maintenance activities, and shift handoffs.
  • Coordinate on-site activities across engineering, networking, facilities, vendors, logistics, and remote operations teams.
  • Lead incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, and escalation activities for critical infrastructure issues.
  • Monitor environmental and infrastructure conditions, including power, cooling, temperature, humidity, and hardware health.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate responses to liquid-cooling alarms, leaks, flow or pressure issues, temperature abnormalities, and Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU) incidents.
  • Support direct-to-chip liquid cooling environments, including CDUs, cooling loops, manifolds, hoses, and monitoring systems.
  • Oversee installation, rack-and-stack, cabling, deployment, troubleshooting, break/fix, and decommissioning activities for high-density infrastructure.
  • Serve as an on-site escalation point and provide technical direction to data center technicians.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data center operations, infrastructure, or mission-critical environments, including experience leading technical teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, network connectivity, power, cooling, and environmental systems.
  • Working knowledge of CDUs, direct-to-chip liquid cooling systems, cooling loops, leak detection, flow and pressure monitoring, and related operational procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with servers, GPU or high-density compute systems, networking equipment, structured cabling, rack infrastructure, and power distribution.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills within a 24/7 data center environment.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple technical teams and serve as an on-site escalation point.
  • Relevant education, training, certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and respond to operational issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work on-site in the designated data center location.

Publishing Pay Range: $55.00 – $63.00 hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
