Role Summary
This position leads complex infrastructure, hardware refresh, deployment, and integration projects within multimedia and audiovisual environments. The role oversees project delivery, coordinates cross-functional teams and vendors, and supports technical rollouts across multiple locations. This position requires on-site participation in deployments, audits, troubleshooting, and scheduled weekend cutovers while maintaining project timelines, budgets, and operational readiness.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of multimedia network migrations, audiovisual integrations, hardware refreshes, and large-scale technology deployments.
- Coordinate vendor activities, including engagement, RFP support, performance management, and quality control.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, resource allocations, and status reporting.
- Conduct physical site audits and participate in deployment, cutover, and troubleshooting activities, including scheduled weekend work.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, develop recommendations, and deliver solutions aligned with project objectives.
- Provide project-level technical coordination for device connectivity, power, network status, and on-site troubleshooting.
- Manage project documentation, change orders, and system handover activities to support successful operational transitions.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks and variances, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Support the integration and deployment of multimedia technologies, including video conferencing and audiovisual systems.
- Participate in project governance activities, infrastructure program meetings, and vendor discussions to support project standards and timelines.
Qualifications
- Project management experience supporting technical or infrastructure initiatives; certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or comparable credentials are preferred.
- Experience managing large infrastructure, audiovisual, video conferencing, hardware refresh, or technology deployment projects.
- Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting within field deployment environments.
- Relevant education, training, certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong organizational, logistical, project planning, and resource management skills.
- Ability to work on-site in the New York City area, including travel between Manhattan and the Purchase/Westchester area, and participate in scheduled weekend cutovers as required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in deadline-driven environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
- Familiarity with audiovisual systems, video conferencing technologies, and basic network design is preferred.
Publishing Pay Range: $60.00 – $70.00 hourly
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
