Technical Project Manager
Oue client is currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead several key internal technology projects. This pivotal role involves overseeing project lifecycles, from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison among cross-functional teams and stakeholders, maintaining clear lines of communication and delivering consistent progress updates. This position offers a dynamic work environment where strategic project management skills are crucial for driving technical initiatives forward.
Responsibilities:
- Define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
- Lead and coordinate direct and cross-functional team efforts to ensure timely execution of project deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs as needed.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
- Identify, mitigate, and communicate potential risks and liabilities associated with project activities.
- Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the project.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in project management within a technical environment.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices (experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies preferred).
- Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
