Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to provide daily support for the operation of complex, mission-critical application systems.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and enhance technical understanding of processing and data flows across multiple assigned applications, including software, system integrations, and network connectivity in tiered environments.
- Monitor application performance metrics and trends to identify and remediate issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with Wealth Management personnel and management to facilitate meetings, research, resolve support issues, and draft business and functional requirements to address business needs.
- Lead the design, simulation, testing, and implementation of system enhancements and configurations to improve performance and functionality.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems software and programs, including data flow and process modeling for projects of varying complexity.
- Manage batch job scheduling and script development to optimize system operations and data processing.
- Drive IT governance policies and change control processes for supported applications, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Technical Analysis, Data Analytics, or Bank Operations, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proficient in SQL and familiar with .Net debugging; scripting experience (e.g., JavaScript) is preferred.
- Demonstrable knowledge of RDBMS principles and multi-tiered application environments.
- Experience with application and infrastructure troubleshooting, including familiarity with disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, capable of dealing with a range of stakeholders and collaborators.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to change.
