Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead their Corporate Actions and Income Processing team within the Wealth Management Services division. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, enhancing process efficiencies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in wealth management operations, with a strong focus on securities and cash processing. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a team that is dedicated to providing superior asset servicing and achieving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Corporate Actions and Income Processing team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
  • Drive the implementation of process improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and manage team performance to meet service level objectives and operational goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to address high-impact and time-sensitive issues.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to minimize operational losses and market exposure.
  • Review and update internal policies and procedures to ensure they meet compliance standards and align with industry best practices.
  • Generate comprehensive reports for senior management, providing insights into operational performance and strategic planning.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Accounting, or Finance required.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in wealth management operations, specifically in securities and/or cash processing.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a managerial capacity overseeing operations teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate teams.
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex, high-stakes situations.
  • Detailed knowledge of regulatory compliance related to wealth management and securities operations.
  • Ability to compile and analyze performance data to make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Certified Securities Operations Professional (CSOP) or Certified Trust Operations Professional (CTOP) designation.
