Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Release Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing cross-functional, multi-phase network implementations, and engineering support across various technology domains. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating tasks, managing communications, and ensuring the seamless delivery of IT service projects. This position offers a challenging opportunity to work within a global solutions and service delivery organization, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple related and interdependent projects to deliver a desired business outcome, ensuring all projects are delivered within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Plan and coordinate project deliverables across multiple service providers to meet complex network infrastructure project requirements.
  • Develop and manage network-related tasks within the overall work plan, translating business requirements into technical execution.
  • Proactively manage scope to ensure delivery of agreed value and anticipate and resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to raise and document change requests, ensuring all changes comply with firm-wide policies.
  • Conduct release readiness reviews, post-implementation reviews, and reporting as necessary.
  • Monitor and report progress against the release calendar, managing conflicts and dependencies effectively.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including senior management, on project status and any potential risks.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical role supporting network projects/programs.
  • Strong project and program management skills with certifications in PMP, ITIL preferred; technical certifications such as CCNA are a plus.
  • Experience with Change Management and Configuration Advisory Board (CAB) processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical/engineering/implementation resource tasks and service delivery.
  • Exceptional client interfacing skills, with the ability to work effectively across different time zones and manage varied working hours.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end network infrastructure delivery life-cycles.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
