Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer IV to join their dynamic team. This role is perfect for a professional with a strong background in engineering within the natural gas or petrochemical industry. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading investigations into serious incidents. This position offers the opportunity to work independently, applying innovative solutions and anticipating business trends to meet current and future customer needs. This is a full-time position that involves collaborating with various departments to enhance operational and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise large-scale engineering projects, ensuring they meet all technical and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement innovative services or processes that address current and future customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed presentations to stakeholders, including executive leadership and regulatory agencies.
  • Respond to serious incident sites, conduct thorough investigations, and provide comprehensive reports on findings.
  • Train and qualify incident investigation team leaders and evaluate investigations completed by field personnel.
  • Develop safety moments for Board of Directors EHS Committee meetings and participate actively as a voting member of the Health and Safety Focus Team.
  • Work cross-functionally with corporate and field operations, safety, environmental, and legal teams to enhance overall safety and compliance.

Qualifications:
  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Preferred: Additional seven (7) years of progressive engineering experience and PE Certification.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in more than one engineering specialty area.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as the main priority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and other relevant PC skills.
  • Project Management experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Capability to work independently and anticipate internal and external business challenges.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to safety and compliance.
