Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join a leading technology organization. This role is hybrid, requiring the analyst to work from a remote office and in-person at the Oakland General Office for 2-3 days per week. Occasionally, travel to other Bay Area locations may be required. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical skill set to develop metrics, balanced scorecards, and performance analytics that influence strategic decisions and operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine metrics, balanced scorecards, dashboards, and performance analytics to provide insights into operational results and strategic advice to senior leadership.
- Prepare complex data analyses from initial request to presenting results, ensuring accuracy and relevance of data extracts.
- Collaborate and maintain strong working relationships with security teams, IT Risk and Compliance, and other strategic, cross-functional partners.
- Develop and update internal analytical products, communicate analytical insights clearly and concisely, and tailor communications to specific audiences.
- Design and implement training programs for business partners on new tools and data-driven decision-making processes.
- Develop effective presentation materials for leadership to facilitate informed decision-making and awareness of key issues.
- Assist with the production of project and operational review materials, ensuring comprehensive coverage of key performance indicators and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a business intelligence or data analysis role.
- Proven ability to manage complex data analysis projects independently from inception to completion.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Power BI. Familiarity with Power Automate, PowerApps, and SharePoint sites is advantageous.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional research, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in an understandable manner.
- Experience in developing dashboards and automated reporting routines to streamline data processing and analysis.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and travel to different locations as required.
Pay Range: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
