Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer III to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting the enterprise Mechanical Integrity program, focusing on existing assets and projects related to new construction, capacity increases, or enhancements in the overall performance of their facilities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in conducting technical analyses and mechanical integrity engineering evaluations, ensuring efficiency and compliance across operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to stakeholders through detailed technical analyses and mechanical integrity engineering evaluations.
  • Assist the engineering team with Suitability for Service (SFS) and Fitness for Service (FFS) evaluations on enterprise equipment and components.
  • Coordinate and plan mechanical integrity inspections, analyses, and data management in collaboration with Process Safety Engineers, Operations, Technical Services, and field office personnel.
  • Work closely with other members of the Mechanical Integrity team to implement efficient integrity programs and inspections.
  • Advise and support management on the status of technical evaluations and updates.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and conduct research to stay informed of technical developments relevant to the role.
  • Compile data, communicate and provide essential information to engineers, operations leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data applicable to business requirements and assist with regulatory determinations as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Required experience with vessel design and solid understanding of ASME Section VIII Div-1 & 2, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8 piping codes, as well as API-510, 570, 576, 653.
  • Preferred knowledge of OSHA 1910.119 (J), CFR parts 192 Natural Gas and 195 Liquid Pipeline Regulations, and NBIC.
  • Ability to provide information effectively to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Proficient with basic computer skills and the ability to learn company-specific applications.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a goal-oriented approach, functioning with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Capacity to implement new ideas and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts.

Pay Range: $30.00 – $40.00

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
