Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating IT projects from initiation through closure, aligning with both business goals and technology roadmaps. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing flexibility between office and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Lead the initiation, planning, and implementation of IT projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology strategies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including charters, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
- Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
- Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Analyze financial information related to projects including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial accuracy and accountability.
- Support change management processes, including stakeholder engagement and communication strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of new systems or processes.
- Utilize ERP financial tools like Oracle to track and manage project costs, forecasts, and variances effectively.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of project change requests (PCRs) and perform risk analysis related to costs and schedules.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project support or financial controls within IT environments; 4+ years preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project/Planner, Oracle).
- Basic understanding of financial principles including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ability to interpret and communicate financial data effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with IT systems development lifecycle and SaaS/cloud financial treatment is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience with BI reporting tools and data visualization techniques is beneficial.
Pay Range: $40.00 – $45.00 hourly
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
