Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Support Specialist to join their dynamic team in New Orleans, LA. This vital role is responsible for configuring and maintaining user-support services and software, exploring innovative solutions, and providing guidance and training to users and staff. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of a growing technical customer service group, demonstrating both independent and collaborative problem-solving skills in a high-energy environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently respond to support-related emails, phone calls, and other communications.
  • Maintain and configure enterprise user-support services and software.
  • Identify and integrate innovative services and software to enhance user support.
  • Provide instruction and training users and support staff on new and existing technologies.
  • Coordinate support activities with team leaders and other staff members.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor student staff in their assigned duties.
  • Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/equivalent with nine years of experience in server support and public computing facilities, or a Bachelor's degree with three years of related experience.
  • Proficient in managing both Windows or Macintosh operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of Internet-related applications and protocols (e.g., email clients, FTP clients, Web Browsers, IP addressing, subnetting, and 802.11).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both non-technical end-users and technical staff.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to promptly resolve hardware and software issues.

Pay Range: $60K – $70K Annually

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
