Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented PSAP Relation Manager to join their team. This role involves acting as the primary liaison between the company and Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) during the critical transition of emergency communication networks from legacy systems to modern infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless communication and coordination, helping to maintain public safety standards during significant infrastructure changes.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with PSAPs and state offices to provide timely updates on the decommissioning of wire centers and the transition to fiber-based infrastructure.
  • Track the progress of Originating Service Provider (OSP) migrations and SIP Point of Interconnection (POI) buildouts, ensuring compliance with new FCC regulations.
  • Inform state 9-1-1 offices and individual PSAPs of POI completion timelines and migration start dates.
  • Keep public sector call-taking entities informed about key milestones, including transitions from copper/TDM to fiber-based solutions.
  • Act as a project liaison to answer queries and provide status updates, facilitating effective communication between all stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet strategic objectives and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:                      
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale transition projects, particularly in telecommunications or public safety sectors.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments and external entities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to finding effective solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in a change control-oriented environment with a solid understanding of testing strategies and defining acceptance criteria.
  • Confidence in interacting with senior management to report on project status and critical issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in challenging situations.

Pay Range: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
