Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the management of assigned projects in the technology sector. This role involves ensuring project excellence in quality, schedule, and delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT infrastructure solutions and project management, demonstrating the ability to lead significant technical projects such as migrations and system implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents, effectively communicating project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis, setting and continually managing project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel, identifying and resolving issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of total project management-related experience, with at least 2 years as a Project Manager in a large civilian or governmental program.
- Proven experience with MS Project, SharePoint, and other project management tools.
- At least 2 years of experience managing projects using Project Management Institute’s PMBOK version 7 or later.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing cybersecurity projects and 4 years’ experience managing information technology projects.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
- Technical fluency with IT infrastructure solutions is essential.
Pay Range: $45.00 – $50.00 Hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
