Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Technician to join their team. This role involves providing top-notch IT field support primarily across Western Texas and Oklahoma, with a base in Midland, Texas. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of IT services and infrastructure, directly impacting our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and support, ensuring timely resolution of IT-related issues across various locations.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, and feature updates specifically for Windows 10 and 11 operating systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage Microsoft Office applications, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, to support business operations.
  • Conduct hardware installations and perform troubleshooting tasks, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and functioning efficiently.
  • Maintain network communications, including LAN/WAN technologies, to ensure stable and secure connectivity.
  • Handle the racking and stacking of equipment and manage comprehensive cable installations including Cat5, Cat6, and Fiber optics.
  • Support and manage a variety of technologies, such as Cisco/Aruba networking, VSAT, and Ubiquiti Radios, enhancing network capabilities.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT field support or related roles.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced desktop management skills and proficiency in software troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows 10 and 11, including upgrades and feature updates.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Application Installation and Troubleshooting.
  • Proven capability in hardware installation and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of network communications and experience with LAN/WAN technologies.
  • Experience in racking and stacking equipment and cable installation (Cat5, Cat6, Fiber, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Cisco/Aruba networking, VSAT, and Ubiquiti Radios is highly encouraged.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM/Intune, Citrix systems, and mobile device management including iOS is advantageous.

Pay Range: $30.00 – $35.00 Hourly

This position is based in office and requires the employee to work on-site.
