Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Technical Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in assisting businesses to implement and maintain sophisticated electronic payment processing systems and related software. The successful candidate will be instrumental in troubleshooting customer issues, facilitating software installations, and ensuring a seamless experience for both new and existing customers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, or screen sharing to address customer queries and issues.
- Troubleshoot issues related to software, payment processing, and system integrations promptly.
- Guide new customers through the software installation process and provide post-implementation training to ensure successful adoption.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the development or QA teams as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all customer interactions, track issue resolution progress in CRM systems, and provide constructive feedback on software defects.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of client projects and meet all project deadlines.
- Conduct internal training sessions to enhance team members' product knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical support, customer service, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Dynamics GP, Dynamics 365, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with CRM tools including Dynamics CRM, Jira, or HubSpot.
- Knowledge of networking principles, payment processing systems, and PCI-DSS compliance.
- Proficient in using screen sharing tools like Webex, GoToMeeting, or similar software.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Pay Range: $28.00 – $32.00 Hourly
This position is based in office and requires the employee to work on-site.
