Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform duties related to monitoring, researching, and resolving high skill level growth customer account issues and requests.
- Provide customer support including order intake, order status updates, communicating schedule availability, and setting up customer accounts related to new services and meter sets.
- Direct and assist customers and employees related to new services and meter sets, utilizing systems including but not limited to: Banner, Maximo, Microsoft Dynamics, Email, Phone, and PCAD.
- Assist customers and employees via telephone and electronic communications relative to order inquiries and escalated situations.
- Negotiate with customers and assist other employees in resolving problems on matters related to gas service.
- Provide information and assistance to other company employees, Corporation Commission staff, builders, plumbers, city inspectors, vendors, and other utility company employees regarding company policies and procedures and the status of customer accounts.
- Collaborate with engineering, scheduling/Dispatch, meter reading, field operations, and other groups as needed to assist growth customers.
- Compile, prepare, and verify correspondence, customer information, and reports including customer correspondence, customer accounting forms, service orders, new meter sets, and builder billing budgets.
- Proven experience in customer service or a related field, preferably in a utility or construction environment.
- Strong proficiency in using office equipment and applications such as Banner, Maximo, and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle both telephone and electronic communications effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret customer account information, city/county codes and regulations, maps, and atlas pages.
- Experience compiling and preparing customer account information, correspondence, memorandums, billing information, and various reports.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and the ability to verify complex data.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to also work independently when required.
- Ability to provide regular and reliable attendance and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without employer-provided visa sponsorship.
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
