Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable Project Design Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for supporting our design team by efficiently managing project-specific documents and analyzing performance metrics to enhance decision-making processes. The successful candidate will be based on-site and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of project workflows and communication across departments. This is a full-time position that promises a challenging yet rewarding work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and manage project-specific documents such as floorplans and design documentation, ensuring they are up-to-date and readily accessible for the design team.
  • Implement streamlined processes for centralizing essential information and maintaining comprehensive records of project documentation.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to export, filter, and analyze data including light metrics counts, design totals, and late items to generate accurate reports that track project progress and identify potential bottlenecks.
  • Provide general office support by managing email communications and coordinating tasks using Office 365 tools to ensure effective information sharing and issue resolution.
  • Act as the primary contact for design-related inquiries, facilitating communication between internal teams to address missing elements or implement changes promptly.
  • Participate actively in weekly team meetings to integrate with the team, socialize updates, and collaboratively address any outstanding issues.
  • Maintain consistent communication and foster collaboration under the guidance and support of the immediate team to ensure alignment and efficient workflow.
Qualifications
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail for effective document and data management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Experience in document management and data analysis in a corporate setting is highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of initiative and reliability, with the capability to work independently when required.
  • A background in project management or design-related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of confidentiality and the integrity of official records.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
