We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Telecom Data Research Associate/Analyst to join our team. This role involves extensive research and data collection related to telecom circuits and trunk provisioning, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating project databases, analyzing regulatory documents, and supporting the Wire Center Migration Project. This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to contribute to the success of the Wire Center Migration Project through ad hoc research and data collection tasks.
- Research and compile information using internal systems, internet research, and regulatory document analysis.
- Manage and oversee data collection efforts relating to circuit and OSP corporate identity information, ensuring databases are current and accurate.
- Perform meticulous data entry and update operations across various project applications, with a strong focus on Excel and QuickBase.
- Prepare detailed reports and identify key data for all 911 services associated with the project, ensuring compliance with stakeholder expectations.
- Maintain high standards of data management and accuracy, adhering to project timelines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
- Proven experience in performing detailed relational database research and data analysis.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage large volumes of data efficiently.
- Experience with telecom circuit provisioning processes, data systems, and circuit technologies.
- Familiarity with legacy telecom technology, particularly in the 911 service space.
- Understanding of Common Language Location Identifier (CLLI) codes and legacy TDM-based telecom equipment circuits.
- Proficiency in using carrier organization inventory tools such as Trunks Integrated Record Keeping System (TIRKS).
- Five to eight years of experience in a telecom environment, preferably working with 911 systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of data handling.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Pay Range: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
