We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our ITSM team, which plays a pivotal role in the operational support of our mission-critical systems. This role involves enhancing and expanding the ServiceNow platform that underpins the operations of the bulk electric grid and wholesale power markets. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain ServiceNow solutions to improve our operational efficiency. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a balance between office presence and remote work flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize the ServiceNow environment using Flow Designer and Integration Hub to replace generic scripting.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with various systems, including CMDB and ERP systems, to ensure seamless data flow and operations.
  • Manage and execute incident, change, and configuration management processes within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Support and maintain mission-critical applications, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business requirements.
  • Adhere to and contribute to the development of best practices throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Act as a trusted advisor within the team, providing expertise and guidance on the ServiceNow platform.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and supporting IT solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, Change, CMDB, and ITAM.
  • Experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub within ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, including incident and change management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer preferred.
  • Additional certifications in ServiceNow ITSM or ITOM are considered a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Range: $49.00 – $68.00 per hour
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
