IT Business Analyst II

Role Summary
This position is an on-site IT Business Analyst role responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. The role involves developing business design documents, managing product backlogs, and facilitating communication between business and technical teams to ensure application development aligns with organizational goals. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting internal application improvements within a dynamic, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, collect, and review detailed business requirements.
• Develop comprehensive business design documents based on stakeholder inputs and requirements.
• Create user stories to clearly communicate business needs to development and QA teams.
• Assist development and QA teams in translating business requirements into technical designs and test plans.
• Participate in design, development, and testing phases to verify that deliverables meet business expectations.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and organize training sessions prior to application releases.
• Work closely with product owners and other business analysts to define product roadmaps and release schedules.
• Manage and prioritize the application backlog using tools such as ADO TFS or Jira.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams throughout project lifecycle.
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance internal application functionality and user satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst working with diverse business and technical teams.
• Proven expertise in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Experience managing application backlogs using tools like ADO TFS or Jira.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate stakeholder meetings and training sessions.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as PMI PBA or IIBA CBAP are a plus.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to perform work on-site as required by the role.

Publishing Pay Range: $50.00 – $55.00 Hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
