Role Summary
An experienced Epic Wisdom Application Analyst is sought to support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of Epic's practice management systems within a healthcare environment. This role requires a deep understanding of Epic Wisdom modules, workflows, and system upgrades to enhance clinical and administrative efficiency. The analyst will collaborate with clinical, IT, and business teams to ensure seamless deployment and support of Epic applications, leveraging expertise to drive system improvements and user adoption.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end setup and deployment of Epic Wisdom modules aligned with organizational goals and best practices.
- Collaborate with clinical and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and tailor system configurations appropriately.
- Customize Epic Wisdom modules to optimize workflow efficiency, including implementing system enhancements.
- Develop comprehensive training programs and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions for end-users and internal teams.
- Provide daily support for Epic Wisdom, troubleshooting issues and maintaining system stability.
- Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization.
- Assist in planning and executing system upgrades, ensuring minimal operational disruption.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate Epic Wisdom with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, workflows, and customizations.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and system improvements effectively to all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Application Analyst with a focus on Epic Wisdom.
- Epic Wisdom certification is REQUIRED, with experience in Wisdom project implementations and a pathway to certification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working within healthcare information systems in clinical settings is a plus.
- Proficiency with analytics tools and understanding of Epic applications.
- Knowledge of clinical workflows, especially within dental practices, scheduling, and billing interactions.
- Ability to lead meetings, coordinate tasks, and facilitate effective stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with system build processes and patterns of user interaction.
Publishing Pay Range: $67.00 – $70.00 Hourly
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
