Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Systems Analyst to join their dynamic team in Houston, Texas. This role is pivotal in supporting the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) applications and requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background in EHS solutions. The successful candidate will work under minimal supervision, providing both maintenance and development support as part of a multifaceted IT team. This is a full-time position that involves collaborating with core business users to enhance system functionality and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and administration for the Sphera Essential Suite (ESuite) application.
- Manage the configuration, administration, and ongoing support of the Enablon EHS solution.
- Develop custom technology solutions to support ancillary EHS systems and enhance overall system performance.
- Identify and assess potential opportunities or risks that could impact the EHS system's effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather user requirements and translate them into functional system specifications.
- Ensure the completion of all required Change Management tasks and adherence to SOX control requirements, where applicable.
- Facilitate and coordinate end user acceptance testing, manage issues, and ensure timely resolution of problems.
- Utilize industry-standard project management principles and tools throughout the project lifecycle to ensure efficient delivery of services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or related field is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in administering, configuring, and supporting Enablon EHS solutions.
- Proven experience with Industrial Hygiene, Air Quality, Compliance, and Action Plans modules within Enablon.
- Advanced knowledge in complex emissions modeling within the Air Quality module.
- Familiarity with regulatory & sustainability content software, preferably Enhesa-RegScan.
- Experience with Federal & multi-state regulatory reporting, including TX STEERS.
- Proficiency in SQL, preferably Oracle, and data analysis and modeling skills are desired.
- Experience in web service development and familiarity with Angular or React frameworks is advantageous.
- Knowledge of .NET development or a comparable 4th generation language, with Azure CI/CD pipelines experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and willingness to travel up to 10%.
