Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join their dynamic manufacturing team. This role is pivotal in assembling customer orders using advanced assembly equipment and processes to meet current and future demands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality assembly of products while adhering to safety standards and operational protocols. This full-time position operates on a Shift G schedule from Monday to Thursday, 16:00 to 02:30, offering a comprehensive opportunity to enhance technical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble various components into final products following precise manufacturing instructions to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections to verify that all products meet the rigorous standards and specifications set forth by the company and its clients.
  • Operate and maintain production equipment, making necessary adjustments as dictated by process requirements and equipment performance.
  • Monitor and adjust the production process to improve efficiency and resolve issues that may arise during the assembly phase.
  • Prepare materials and components required for assembly operations to ensure a smooth workflow and timely completion of production targets.
  • Document operational data and report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to the production engineering team.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; further technical training or certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a semiconductor, electronics, or medical device manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and production control.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and follow written instructions accurately.
  • Experience with microscopes, PCBA boards, and module testing preferred.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, if required.
