Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design and implement cloud and hybrid systems using Microsoft Azure. This role involves managing the cloud computing strategy and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud information flows and process architecture necessary for the implementation of robust cloud security measures.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and architect scalable, secure, and robust cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of cloud solutions, from initial design through deployment and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant security protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems.
  • Conduct cloud security audits and implement necessary changes to meet or exceed contractual requirements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive cloud design documentation.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance during the solution development and deployment phases.
  • Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and potential applications to business challenges.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Architect or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including computing, networking, storage, monitoring, and security.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud and hybrid systems.
  • Ability to conduct and respond to cloud security audits.
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience providing technical guidance.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest cloud service trends and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud architecture and security are preferred.

Pay Range: $50.00 – $75.00 Hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
