We are seeking an experienced Azure Consultant for a short-term contract engagement supporting a State University. This technical role is designed for a highly skilled professional who can contribute immediately to an ongoing project and accelerate progress within a defined four-week period. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with both business and technical stakeholders in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. The position is fully remote and requires working Pacific Coast hours to align with project needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with existing project teams to accelerate the delivery of Azure-based solutions and infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and manage Azure Container Registry, Network Security Groups, Private Endpoints, and Recovery Services Vaults.
- Deploy, configure, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and associated virtual machine technologies within the Azure ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for automated provisioning and management of cloud resources.
- Utilize Docker Compose for container orchestration, ensuring efficient and scalable application deployment.
- Configure and manage Nginx for load balancing, reverse proxy, and web server requirements in cloud environments.
- Support and enhance AI-driven environments leveraging OpenAI and OpenAI Foundry, integrating with existing cloud infrastructure.
- Provide expert guidance and troubleshooting for complex technical issues, maintaining high standards for security and reliability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure cloud solutions, including advanced networking and security components.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Container Registry, Network Security Groups, Private Endpoints, and Recovery Services Vaults.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Kubernetes administration and VM technologies within a cloud environment.
- Expert-level knowledge of Terraform scripting for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
- Solid understanding of Docker Compose and container orchestration best practices for scalable deployments.
- Experience implementing and managing Nginx in cloud and containerized environments.
- Background working in AI environments, specifically with OpenAI and OpenAI Foundry technologies.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
- Availability to work Pacific Coast hours for the duration of the four-week contract engagement.
- Authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the contract.
Pay Range: $90.00 – $95.00 per hour
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
