Our client is seeking a highly skilled BMC Remedy Engineering Lead to join their team. This role involves serving as a subject matter expert in the implementation and management of the Remedy IT Service Management System, TrueSight Server Automation, and BMC Client Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, designing, implementation, and documentation of Remedy into an enterprise environment. This position is available at Hanscom AFB, MA or Lackland AFB, TX and involves active participation in both project and operational phases of the enterprise ITSM lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of BMC Remedy ITSM 20.02 or above into daily functions of the enterprise.
- Analyze business requirements and code modifications or new programs as needed.
- Create comprehensive documentation to support development and operational activities.
- Develop, test, and maintain applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems.
- Utilize expertise in Remedy to analyze needs and requirements and make recommendations to Enterprise ITSM management.
- Develop and execute detailed project plans for ITSM enhancements and upgrades.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on ITSM Remedy installation, testing, and support activities.
- Design and guide the development of workflows that support business and industry best practices in IT service management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in BMC Remedy Suite ITSM with a BS/BA degree; 6 years with MS/MA; 3 years with PhD.
- In lieu of a degree, 12 years of applicable experience will be considered.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Demonstrated experience in BMC Remedy development and administration.
- Proven track record in Enterprise ITSM management.
- Experience with True Sight Server Automation and BMC Client Management.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead projects.
