Role Summary

An experienced IT Analyst IV is responsible for providing technical leadership within the Microsoft 365 platform environment. This role involves managing end-to-end administration, engineering, licensing, and governance of the platform, as well as supporting overall system stability and security. The position offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, design scalable solutions, and ensure platform reliability while mentoring other analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration, engineering, licensing, and governance of Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Copilot, and Entra ID.
  • Monitor the Microsoft 365 roadmap, evaluate emerging capabilities, and guide testing, staging, and production readiness for new features.
  • Provide Tier 3 support, perform root-cause analysis, and conduct post-incident reviews to maintain system stability and reliability.
  • Manage enterprise identity and access controls through Microsoft Entra ID, enforcing SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and privileged access policies.
  • Strengthen platform security and compliance using Microsoft Purview, Insider Risk Management, data classification, DLP, retention, and eDiscovery tools.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to design, develop, and implement scalable Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilizing project management best practices to deliver innovative technology solutions that streamline business processes.
  • Provide technical mentorship and leadership within the team, supporting professional growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Document solutions, maintain system best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support 24/7 on-call duties as required to ensure operational continuity.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with at least 15 years of IT experience; OR associate’s degree with a minimum of 10 years' IT experience; OR a bachelor's degree in an IT-related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, security, and compliance tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and privileged access management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview, Insider Risk Management, DLP, retention, and eDiscovery solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead projects, analyze technical requirements, and develop scalable solutions.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call support schedule.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Publishing Pay Range: $50.00 – $60.00 hourly

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining both office and remote work capabilities.
