Our client is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Systems Scripting Engineer and Mid ACAS Administrator to join their dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring the security and efficiency of IT systems within a high-profile government contracting environment. The position is full-time and onsite, with potential locations at Langley AFB, Hanscom AFB, and Scott AFB. Candidates should indicate their location preference on their resumes. This role is contingent upon an upcoming new contract scope from the government and may transition from temporary to permanent based on performance and contract developments. Active secret clearance is required before the commencement of duties.
Responsibilities:
- Write, maintain, and troubleshoot automation scripts using Powershell and Python, focusing on automation with ACAS, SharePoint, and CSV files for report generation.
- Script automation tasks involving APIs and Linux OS configurations and services.
- Perform ongoing operational support and maintenance of ACAS systems and software.
- Assist with the administration and integration of new ACAS systems architecture.
- Review system vulnerability and STIG reports for compliance management.
- Support security process tracking, documentation, and management of periodic recurring reports.
- Provide necessary documentation support for Risk Management Framework, including eMASS package support and Plan of Action and Milestones management.
- Handle other security departments, leadership tasks, and project support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with IT concepts and system administration.
- Knowledgeable in vulnerability management tools and government IT systems.
- High efficiency in personal task management and organization.
- Currently possess DOD 8570, IAT Level II Security+ certification or equivalent.
- Currently possess a DoD SECRET security clearance or higher.
- Experience with DoD STIGs, IA Tools (Host Based Security System), and the Risk Management Framework.
- Familiarity with network design, LAN/WAN systems, and lab configurations.
- Experience with ServiceNow or Remedy is advantageous.
- Military experience or a background in Information Security, Information Systems, or Computer Science is preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
