Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity System Integrator to join their team. This role involves ensuring that cybersecurity controls are seamlessly integrated into Information Technology projects across both cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in IT operations, IT engineering, and cybersecurity, focusing on creating secure, integrated systems that uphold the company’s stringent security standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement integration strategies for cybersecurity controls within IT projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Coordinate with IT and cybersecurity teams to facilitate the seamless integration of security tooling across various environments.
- Utilize automation platforms to orchestrate systems effectively, enhancing security protocols and operational efficiency.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and adapt cybersecurity measures to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies, applying best practices to continuous system improvement.
- Provide expert guidance on the Risk Management Framework, NIST 800-53 rev 5 control family, and the Cybersecurity Framework to team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards throughout project lifecycles.
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are met and integrated solutions are robust and secure.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a cybersecurity role, with at least 2 years in a cybersecurity engineering capacity.
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in integrating IT projects with commercial cloud providers such as Azure or AWS.
- At least 2 years’ experience in using automation platforms for system orchestration.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience focusing on the integration of disparate IT systems into cohesive workflows.
- Proficiency in Python coding with at least 1 year of demonstrated experience in a professional setting.
- Thorough understanding and application of the Risk Management Framework, NIST 800-53 rev 5 control family, and the Cybersecurity Framework.
- Desirable: Experience with networking products such as Palo Alto and Cisco devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail.
Pay Range: $45.00 – $50.00 Hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
