We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Enterprise Architect to join our client’s team on a six-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This role is designed for an experienced professional who can deliver technical leadership and architect integration solutions across a dynamic enterprise environment. The position is based in downtown Houston, Texas, and requires a flexible approach, with three days per week spent onsite and the remaining days remote. As the SAP Enterprise Architect, you will drive robust integration strategies and solutions, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and high system availability.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement scalable integration solutions for SAP systems, ensuring efficient data flow and business process optimization across the organization.
  • Lead the development and execution of the SAP integration strategy and roadmap, aligning technology initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Utilize SAP integration tools, including SAP PI/PO and SAP Cloud Platform Integration, as well as other middleware technologies, to deliver high-performance solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate these into detailed technical specifications and integration designs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and maintaining high levels of system reliability and availability.
  • Optimize and enhance existing integration architectures for performance, scalability, and reliability, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members and stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • Document integration architectures, processes, and technical solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference, maintaining up-to-date records of all integration activities.
  • Stay current with emerging SAP technologies, integration best practices, and industry trends to continuously drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience in SAP integration architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions.
  • Proficiency in SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration, and other middleware technologies relevant to SAP environments.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), and data transformation techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud-based integration platforms and hybrid integration scenarios, including both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to architect solutions for complex integration challenges and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills, capable of interacting effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated business solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Availability for a six-month contract, with the potential for extension, and authorization to work in the United States.

Pay Range: $60.00 – $65.00 per hour

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
