Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a skilled and proactive Helpdesk Analyst to join their dynamic IT team. This role is pivotal in providing first-line support and resolving technical issues for end-users, ensuring efficient operation, and minimizing downtime. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting desktop systems, mobile devices, and network management. This is a full-time position that offers a challenging yet rewarding environment where you can improve your technical skills extensively.

Responsibilities:
  • Resolve desktop level issues and provide technical support for end-users on software, hardware, and network-related problems.
  • Manage user accounts, including setups, changes, and password resets within Microsoft Active Directory/Entra environments.
  • Support and troubleshoot issues with Microsoft Exchange/365 and SQL databases, including basic SQL query handling.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems.
  • Assist in setting up and managing audio-visual equipment for presentations or conferences as needed.
  • Provide support for Cisco Unified Communications systems and manage basic network troubleshooting related to routers and switches.
  • Ensure all technical issues are logged and updated accordingly in the issue tracking system and escalate issues as required.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Helpdesk Analyst, IT Support Technician, or similar role in an IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems (Windows/MacOS), mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server environments and network configurations (subnetting, routing).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically and analytically.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of end-users.
  • Experience with Cisco products, including wireless technology and firewalls, is highly desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
  • Self-motivated with a keen interest in technology and continuous learning.
