Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Implementation Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves establishing key relationships with stakeholders, implementing project changes, and participating in a variety of projects to guide teams towards successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring robust networking knowledge, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within the client organization to influence project details and outcomes.
  • Implement changes according to established project governance frameworks.
  • Participate in multiple projects, occasionally taking on a leadership role to guide project teams.
  • Evaluate network infrastructure at client sites and provide optimization strategies for future planning and current network architecture enhancements.
  • Install, configure, and support various Cisco routing and switching equipment, ensuring integration into existing and new facilities.
  • Work collaboratively with external vendors and internal teams to coordinate necessary surveys and equipment installations.
  • Document changes and perform peer reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot any routing or switching issues that arise.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with Cisco IOS Platforms and products, including Nexus and Catalyst series.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN hardware infrastructure and implementation.
  • Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, and other routing/switching protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with concurrent deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conducting presentations and creating detailed reports.
  • Experience with fiber optic technologies including ST, SC, and LC connectors.
  • CCNA certification required; CCNP or equivalent preferred.
  • BS Degree in Engineering (IT, Telecom, Computer Science) or related field is preferred.
  • Additional experience with Arista devices and WAAS is considered a plus.

Pay Range: $50.00 – $52.00 Hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
