Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Data Architect to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in designing, developing, and managing large-scale data architectures. As an IT Data Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of data solutions that support significant data volumes and are critical to business functions. This full-time position is located on-site and offers a dynamic work environment where innovative and strategic thinking are highly valued.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement solutions for data architecture including data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud environments.
  • Lead the design of Line of Business Data Product data models and document data models, database structures, and data integration solutions.
  • Oversee data integration processes, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of ETL/ELT workflows.
  • Optimize databases and data pipelines to improve performance and scalability.
  • Lead the adoption of new data platforms and technologies, ensuring alignment with business requirements and IT standards.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to data engineers, analysts, and other team members on data architectural best practices.
  • Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive data strategies and deliver on organizational data needs.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale data architectures including data lakes and data warehouses.
  • Strong experience with cloud data platforms, preferably DataBricks and/or Snowflake.
  • Excellent skills in designing complex cross-domain data models.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage data integration projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of successful collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.

Pay Range: $70.00 – $72.28 Hourly

This position is based in office and requires the employee to work on-site.
