Our client is seeking a highly skilled Linux Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure networking and a valid Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (TS/SCI-FSP) clearance. The ideal candidate will have experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and will be responsible for deploying new clusters and cells for Azure Access Point infrastructure. This role involves supporting the operations of existing Azure Access Point clusters to meet security and performance baselines. The position is full-time and requires a dedicated professional capable of managing and maintaining Linux-based systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy new clusters and cells for Azure Access Point infrastructure using Everfox Trusted Thin Client (TTC).
- Manage and maintain the operations of existing Azure Access Point clusters, ensuring compliance with security and performance baselines.
- Perform system administration tasks on Linux-based platforms, focusing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the reliability and security of the infrastructure.
- Support Azure deployment and management tasks, contributing to the optimization of the cloud environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance system capabilities and implement new technologies.
- Document technical procedures and configurations related to system setup and maintenance.
- Provide technical guidance and support for IT projects and initiatives related to Linux systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Linux Engineer with a strong focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Current Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (TS/SCI-FSP) clearance is mandatory.
- Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure networking and cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical challenges.
- Experience deploying and managing secure, high-availability server environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a team setting.
- Ability to document processes and monitor system performance metrics.
- Commitment to following the best practices in network security and system maintenance.
- Relevant certifications in Linux System Administration, Red Hat, or Azure are highly advantageous.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving technologies and project scopes.
Pay Range: $55.00 – $60.00 USD Hourly
