Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer I to join their dynamic engineering team. This full-time position is perfectly suited for recent graduates or professionals with up to 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering. This role involves guiding the production release of established designs, preparing detailed engineering documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product development. This opportunity is located in the client’s West Tulsa office, offering an engaging work environment where innovative ideas are welcomed.

Responsibilities:
  • Guide the production release of mechanical designs, reviewing, making redlines, and finalizing models and drawings using CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed engineering drawings and documentation adhering to industry standards.
  • Support the ordering, fabrication, assembly, and testing of products to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to optimize product development.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product efficiency and performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of engineering processes and ensure proper storage of all project documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 0–5 years of engineering experience; internships or co-op roles in related fields are considered.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
  • Basic understanding of PLM software, preferably Arena.
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively in team settings.
  • Understanding of engineering change order processes and documentation requirements.
  • Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and drafting standards, such as ASME Y14.5, is advantageous.

Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00 Hourly
This position is based in office and requires the employee to work on-site.
