Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Services Consulting Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is keen on leading solution validation engagements for Webscale and Enterprise customers. The position is based either in RTP, NC or Richardson, TX and focuses on accelerating the adoption of new platforms and technologies, with a strong emphasis on the client’s Data Center, Catalyst switching, and VxLAN EVPN solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to plan and execute validation engagements.
  • Support customers in deploying and validating new platforms and architectures.
  • Lead technical discussions to define requirements and build test strategies.
  • Design and configure test lab environments, author and execute test plans, and document outcomes.
  • Identify gaps and issues, and work with engineering and delivery teams to resolve them.
  • Partner with Solution Architects from Delivery and Sales to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Drive innovation to improve efficiency and accelerate validation cycles.
  • Work closely with other engineers to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:
  • Deep knowledge of Nexus platforms, VxLAN, and EVPN.
  • Experience with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and technologies like LISP.
  • Familiarity with NX-OS, IOS-XE, and IOS; IOS-XR knowledge is a plus.
  • Programming experience in Python and ROBOT framework.
  • Experience with Ixia/Spirent test tools.
  • Proven background in test and validation engineering.
  • Additional experience in SD-WAN deployment, troubleshooting, and familiarity with Wireless WLC and gRPC is desirable.
  • Familiarity with IOS-XR is considered a nice-to-have.


Pay Range: $54.00 – $56.00 Hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
