Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Consultant to join their team on a project basis. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in manufacturing operations and ERP systems, specifically Epicor Kinetic. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting system setups and deploying operational capabilities for a high-profile client. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make significant contributions to our client’s operational efficiency. The project is set to commence immediately and will span several months, with potential for extension based on performance and project needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the setup and deployment of Epicor Kinetic focusing on core manufacturing capabilities.
  • Configure and optimize Warehouse locations, Bins, and possibly Zones to enhance operational workflows.
  • Develop and implement Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Methods of Manufacturing (MOMs) including routings.
  • Manage Resources and Resource Groups to align with production schedules and demands.
  • Oversee the Procurement and Buyers Workbench to ensure material availability and cost efficiency.
  • Implement Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) and Advanced Materials Management (AMM) modules.
  • Configure and support Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems to streamline production processes.
  • Set up and integrate Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including labor setup, capture mechanisms, and scanner/labelling usage.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with Epicor Kinetic, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and their application in manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to manage and deploy BOMs, MOMs, and related manufacturing modules.
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing warehouse and inventory management systems.
  • Skilled in the implementation of APS, AMM, and MRP systems.
  • Capability to work with cross-functional teams and manage project deliverables effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide hands-on technical support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and clients.
  • Availability to start immediately and commit to the duration of the project.
