We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PL/SQL Developer to support an enterprise client in the oil and gas industry. This role involves developing and maintaining critical applications for the Natural Gas Intrastate and Interstate Pipeline business unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle, PL/SQL, C#, Web Technologies, and .NET programming. This is a remote position with the possibility of transitioning to an employee role in the future.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement solutions such as reports, visualizations, and interfaces based on gathered requirements using Oracle and PL/SQL.
- Provide troubleshooting support for a variety of technical and business issues.
- Manage software deployments, including coordination and implementation of updates and new features.
- Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications within the Quorum Application Suite and other related platforms.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development and data security.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure high-quality output.
- Document all development processes, code changes, and other technical procedures for future reference and compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in application development within the energy industry.
- Proficient in Oracle, PL/SQL, C#, Web Technologies, and .NET programming.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Spotfire, TIBCO, or PowerBI is highly desirable.
- Prior experience with Quorum software, specifically QPTM, is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful software solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without employer-provided visa sponsorship.
Pay Range: $50.00 – $60.00 Hourly Pay
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
