Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Kubernetes Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our client’s enterprise solutions in cloud-native infrastructure, focusing on networking, security, and observability needs. The ideal candidate will be based in New York, Boston, or the North East Area.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth discovery meetings with potential clients to fully understand their technical environment and business needs.
  • Collaborate closely with sales engineering colleagues to share best practices and enhance overall team effectiveness.
  • Liaise with engineering and product management teams to customize technology solutions that meet customer-specific requirements.
  • Play an active role in shaping the sales engineering culture and future strategic direction of the organization.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of industry trends and technical advancements in Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
  • Utilize exceptional communication skills to deliver presentations and conduct technical demonstrations that clearly convey the value proposition of solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and success.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of sales strategies that effectively address and meet the needs of potential clients.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years in technical sales, specifically within infrastructure and enterprise software environments.
  • Proven expertise in Kubernetes operations, networking, container ecosystems, and microservices architecture.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and related technologies.
  • Strong background in promoting and evangelizing emerging technologies to a diverse range of customers.
  • Experience dealing with Fortune 500 companies, particularly within the Financial Services or High-Tech sectors, is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of various Cloud and Kubernetes environments or distributions such as AWS, GCE/GKE, Azure, VMware Tanzu, and OpenShift.
  • Familiarity with network security solutions, including WAFs and Firewalls.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical details effectively through various mediums to different audience levels.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, multi-functional team environment.

Pay Range: $200,000 – $225,000 Annually

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
