Program Manager
Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join their Professional Service department in the Dallas, TX area. This role involves providing delivery management of high-value paid services to customers throughout the lifecycle of their infrastructure, from initial processes to operation. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the renovation of cutting-edge IT infrastructure and will play a pivotal role in transforming customer infrastructure through innovative solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work with a team of experts and establish strong relationships with large-scale organizations in various sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery management of high-value services to customers, overseeing the entire lifecycle from upstream processes to operation.
- Manage projects focused on the renovation and enhancement of IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with customer needs and organizational goals.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers, acting as the primary point of contact and representing the team effectively.
- Collaborate with internal and external experts to foster personal and professional growth and to ensure project success.
- Drive technology adoption and customer success through strategic problem-solving and effective communication.
- Handle financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, strategic investment decisions, and understanding recurring revenue concepts.
- Lead diverse, cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization, promoting collaboration and efficient project execution.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and technology advancements to act as a Technology Advocate for our clients.
Qualifications:
- BS in Business or a technical field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in complex project environments.
- 3-5 years of experience in program management or service delivery supporting complex programs or portfolios.
- Proficiency in Agile project management methodologies and practical experience with JIRA.
- At least 3 years of delivery experience with a solid grasp of software lifecycle practices.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with executive-level customers.
- Experience in customer-facing roles within enterprise environments, handling multi-architecture, multi-vendor projects.
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional virtual teams.
- Understanding of margin, attrition, and other financial concepts related to project management.
- PMP certification is considered a plus.
