Our client is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a specialization in Air Traffic Control for a crucial role monitoring and reporting on high-risk changes within a large-scale network infrastructure environment. This position requires a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual with exceptional communication skills. The candidate will work primarily during off-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday nights, ensuring smooth implementation of critical updates and upgrades across multiple sites. This role provides an opportunity to work with a leading enterprise technology integrator, coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver optimal results.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on high-risk changes being executed by engineering teams during designated off-hours.
- Manage escalations and coordinate resolution efforts with both internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure adherence to client SLAs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards for proactive monitoring of trends and customer escalations, using data to recommend technical or process enhancements.
- Create and disseminate detailed reports on a daily or weekly basis, summarizing activities and outcomes of change initiatives.
- Participate in the coordination of upgrade and release activities, ensuring readiness for deployment of solutions into production environments.
- Utilize expertise in change management methodologies to influence action and drive effective change across organizational processes.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in infrastructure management and network operations, preferably within a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Previous experience with enterprise systems integration, working with companies such as Cisco Systems, ATOS, IBM, or similar.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a proven track record of handling high-stakes escalations.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical terminology into accessible language for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective interpersonal skills to collaborate across various departments.
- Availability to work during off-hours from Monday to Thursday nights as required by project schedules.
- Experience in coordinating with third-party vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of technical solutions.
- Knowledge of project life cycle phases and familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
