We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and oversee a Transmission Dynamic Line Ratings project for a leading organization in the technology and utilities sector. This is a technical, on-site position, ideal for candidates with a strong background in managing complex technology projects and integrating advanced solutions within established systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project delivery, ensuring successful implementation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance system stability and reliability. Responsibilities

  • Lead the Transmission Dynamic Line Ratings project, ensuring clear project objectives, timelines, and successful outcomes.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple technology projects, balancing priorities and allocating resources effectively to meet deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration and stakeholder alignment.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans as needed to ensure project continuity.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including leadership and executive sponsors, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Oversee technology implementation and data conversion efforts, ensuring compatibility and integration with existing systems.
  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience in a technical or industry-specific environment, with a proven record of delivering complex projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines, and achieving project goals.
  • Strong familiarity with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Confluence and JIRA for tracking progress and facilitating collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience with technology implementation and data conversion, including leading technical teams through complex integrations.
  • Solid understanding of project budgeting and cost management, with the ability to maximize resource efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools is a plus, though not required.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP or Agile are preferred, along with experience in regulated industries and system operations.

Pay Range: $80.00 to $90.00 per hour.
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
